I don't get many notifications, but the ones I got were all in the bottom-right, including those that would always appear in the top-left with 5.35. Are people testing this with 5.36 upgraded from 5.35 which was already being used for KDE sessions, or 5.36 being used the first time onwards on a fresh installation?
