Maybe another update of another package has fixed the issue. looking through synaptic history I only see linux*, libicu that may have helped. If I dont contact you again before 1st of June, You can consider the bug closed. It may be the bug was due to another package or one of the above. If it does not come up again before then it is likely your code does not have backward compatibility, and based on the newer versions of the above or other packages. I hope this is acceptable.
