I just installed latest digikam on arch, which consists of
marble-common-17.04.0-1 marble-data-17.04.0-1 digikam-5.5.0-2. This works fine
here. Does the crash occur every time you start digikam?
The symlink mentioned in the title is not needed anymore after
https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/release-team/2017-April/010244.html. It could be
a problem even, can you remove it and try with the latest arch packages to see
if that makes a difference?
