Screenshotof the archive creation window
When creating archive, the slideshow images are not included in the resulting
.tar.gz file at all. Before creating the archive, you are warned that there are
"missing clips in your project" but there is no indication what these are. In
the attached screenshot, one of those image sequences is highlighted by me
manually.
When archiving your project, this can have catastrophic consequences.
