The whole point of "centered" is to get windows centered on my screen. Centered in front of my eyes. Having to shifting my monitor to be off-center is a funny requirement. The panel is part of the screen. Centering the window on the screen doesn't mean you have to place the window in a non-allowed area. It means you place the window in the center of the screen.
