Also would appreciate it if you could tell me how I can upgrade to a newer version of Dolphin and/or Plasma. I would like to do so, but I am an inexperienced Linux user, and from what I gather from reading forum posts it is not recommended to install things like this outside the recommended Distro repositories. Would it be safe for me to upgrade to a supported Dolphin and Plasma version? If so, what would be the recommended version of Dolphin and Plasma to upgrade to?
