DJ'ing with Juk in Canada!
Hello! I am a salsa dance instructor in Canada and I use Juk *A LOT* in my
parties and in my dance classes. I have about 4,400 music files that I organize
with Juk into playlists. Juk is perfect for us because my partner is
comfortable using it, who is not computer savvy. For example, she will not use
Mixxx.
We're using Juk instead of mixing software like Mixxx because of the user
interface and completeness of Juk.
Because we have an Analog Mixer machine, we don't use any other software (Mixxx
once in a while). That is why we are comfortable using Juk!
We have Juk running on a Kubuntu 16.04 laptop. I've heard that Juk may be
orphaned because it is not being updated from KF4 to KF5. Is this true? It's
our hope that Juk will be upgraded to KF5 along with the rest of the KDE
Applications family because it is an excellent piece of software!
