DESCRIPTION

Current Okular has a "fit to printable area" option.

I think that most of the time, people need a "shrink to the printable area",
that is to scale down things that are too large for the printed page and not to
scale up things that are smaller than it. As an anecdotal example, I often need
to print receipts that are A5 or stripe sized, and I certainly not want them
scaled up to fill an A4 page with characters that get huge and logos that use
up tons of ink.

To worse the situation, when you switch to "None, print original size" the
option "rasterize image" gets auto-activated that should not be needed.

IMHO, okular needs both a "fit to page" and a "shrink to page" option, with an
"ignore printer margins" tickbox.
