STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Laptop with lid closed + external screen over HDMI
2. Kickoff (Or is it kicker? I always confuse their names!): Switch user
3. In Plasma Login Manager, log into another account
OBSERVED RESULT
After clicking "log in", the laptop goes into standby.
EXPECTED RESULT
The laptop keeps being powered and the external display is used as the main
display.
