--- Comment #4 from Frog Chen <[email protected]> --- "output.geometry.right - (1.0 / output.scale)" only allows the mouse to land on the left edge of the rightmost physical pixels. (For example, x=1919.5 on a 4K monitor at 200% scale.) For applications, this may work at 200% scale, but not at other scale factors, due to rounding errors introduced by wl_fixed_t. On a 1080p monitor at 150% scale for example, Wayland rounds x=1279⅓ down to 1279.33203125, which is outside the rightmost physical pixels. If we support fractional mouse movement, I think we should allow mouse movement within any physical pixel, including the rightmost and bottom-most ones. In other words, if x=0.01 y=0.01 is reachable, so should be, say, x=1919.99 y=1079.99. This is what wlroots does (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/wlroots/wlroots/-/blob/0.20.2/util/box.c?ref_type=tags#L38). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
