Reproduced with current master: opening a file without extension and using “Save As” with a .tex name still crashes (use-after-free in KileDocument::Manager::recreateTextDocumentInfo). The old TextInfo object was found again via the new URL and deleted while still in use. A fix is in merge request https://invent.kde.org/office/kile/-/merge_requests/136 The “save without extension” part should already be handled: for LaTeX documents Kile asks whether to add .tex. If you never see that question, you may have once ticked “Do not ask again” in it; this can be reset under Settings → Configure Kile → General → Messages (or by removing AutomaticallyAddExtension from kilerc). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
