DESCRIPTION
I have the following line in my ~/.ssh/config file:
Match host * exec "gpg-connect-agent UPDATESTARTUPTTY /bye"
I have this line to ensure that the GPG key gets used for SSH connections. That
includes when I use dolphin to perform sftp connections. With it, I can count
on dolphin always bringing up the pinentry GUI when the key hasn't been
unlocked yet, instead of just reporting permission denied.
However, since Konsole 26.08, I have noticed that when I initiate SSH
connections from Konsole, the connection is incredibly stuttery: after I type
20 characters, there will be a small pause (less than a second, but
noticeable). This situation seems cyclic; it isn't related to the number of
characters, but the amount of time passed since the last pause.
When I run Konsole 26.04, I don't have this issue. When I remove the above
"Match" line from my SSH config, I also don't have this issue.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a GPG key (or a GPG Authentication Subkey). I have a HW token, but
perhaps a key in Kleopatra will be enough.
2. Add the following line to your ~/.ssh/config file: Match host * exec
"gpg-connect-agent UPDATESTARTUPTTY /bye"
2. Run `ssh-add -L` to ensure that the GPG key appears among the identities
recognized by the ssh-agent
3. `ssh` to some machine in Konsole
OBSERVED RESULT
1. Typing in Konsole connected to a remote machine via SSH should be frequently
interrupted by a very short pause.
EXPECTED RESULT
1. Typing in Konsole connected to a remote machine via SSH should be as fluid
as typing in a Konsole navigating a local directory.

This stutter doesn't occur with a terminal other than Konsole 26.08 (or newer).
Notably:
- it doesn't happen with a Ptyxis flatpak
- it doesn't happen with a Konsole 26.04 flatpak
- it doesn't happen with a ptyxis rpm
