            Bug ID: 527796
Summary: rovide a dropdown or helper list of standard XDG paths
                    when adding a filesystem permission
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
      Version First 6.7.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_app-permissions
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

When adding file system access permissions in the Flatpak permissions
configuration module (KCM), users must manually enter the path, including the
special "xdg-*" syntax (e.g., xdg-documents, xdg-download, xdg-config,
xdg-data, etc.). This syntax is not intuitive and is prone to input errors.

It would be beneficial for this module to provide a simple way to select
standard XDG directories—for instance, via a drop-down menu or a list of
suggestions containing the most common "xdg-*" paths—while still allowing for
the manual entry of custom paths.

This would make the feature more accessible and serve as an ergonomic
improvement for users who manage Flatpak permissions through this module.
