Tested on Gentoo with KWin 6.8.1 plus that commit rebased as a user patch. NVIDIA-primary via KWIN_DRM_DEVICES=<nvidia>:<intel>, with KWIN_ALLOW_DMABUF_V6 unset (the previous workaround). After reboot: - Desktop and lock-screen wallpaper render correctly - Windows repaint without resizing - Hover is immediate - supportInformation OpenGL renderer: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU - plasmashell and kwin_wayland both on the NVIDIA GPU MR 10196 did not fix it here (comment 8).
