Used in Windows XP and until Windows 10, when it was made obsolete by Microsoft because of security issues. I have not seen this bug in Sama protocol version 3.0 and newer versions. But as earlier comment note from about 10 years ago. This bug was confirmed at the time. But I do think that by progress of updates on the samba protocol that this bug is no longer active.
