Niccolò Venerandi <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #18 from Niccolò Venerandi <[email protected]> --- This has been possible since Qt 6.6 (6.5.1 on X11): any Qt app can put a badge on its Task Manager entry with one call, QGuiApplication::setBadgeNumber() (https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qguiapplication.html#setBadgeNumber, added for Linux in https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/470491 and https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtwayland/+/470496). On Linux it sends the same LauncherEntry signal the Task Manager already understands, using the app's desktop file name, so no extra KDE API is needed. Separately, the Task Manager can show an app's unread notification count as a badge (System Settings > Notifications > Notification badges). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
