Example of the dialog being unhelpful for the krunner plugin epochreadable
DESCRIPTION
Currently, in the "Pick your installation option" dialog, items only display a
file name and size. In most cases, though, based on this information alone the
user won't be able to make an informed decision, as seen in the example
screenshot.
If you now look at the store listing there's much more information:
- Version
- Description
- Download count
- Date
In the case of my example, all of Version, Description and Date would help the
user to decide which option to go for. Download can be a really helpful
indicator as well.
I would suggest adding as much information as "we can fit" into the dialog, to
prevent users from being confused or having to visit the store page to check.
