Thanks, that shows the cause. Dolphin lists a partition in Devices when Solid reports StorageVolume.ignored = false, and that value comes from UDisks (HintIgnore). StorageAccess.ignored is true for any partition that is not mounted under /media, /run/media or the home folder, so it is true for every unmounted partition and does not say whether a partition should be hidden. The boot and recovery containers have the GPT types "Apple Silicon boot" (69646961-6700-11aa-aa11-00306543ecac) and "Apple Silicon recovery" (52637672-7900-11aa-aa11-00306543ecac). UDisks hides partitions by GPT type in its 80-udisks2.rules, as it already does for the Apple boot partition and the EFI system partition, but these two types are not in that list yet. That change belongs in UDisks: https://github.com/storaged-project/udisks/issues The stub macOS container uses the ordinary APFS type, the same as a real macOS installation, so no type rule can tell them apart. The Asahi installer would have to mark it, for example with a udev rule on its partition UUID. Until then you can hide it from the Places panel with "Hide" in its context menu.
