At home, on my Gentoo box, I could not reproduce the problem, and neither with my Artix notebook – similar setup, and also an IP Everywhere printer. I then tried to upgrade my work box (it has been a while), et voilà: The problem was gone. So this seems to be some bug that has been fixed menawhile.
