Bug ID: 527396
Summary: Title is shown everywhere instead of filename
Classification: Applications
Product: Haruna
Version First 1.8.1
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
I want to know the name of the file or files I have opened or added to a
playlist, but there is nowhere in Haruna's UI that shows it. Instead, some kind
of metadata "title" field is displayed, which often is not good enough. For
example, for the episodes in a show's seasons, the file name usually contains
the episode number. The title however does not. With the filename not visible
now I have no way to verify if I've added the episodes in the correct order in
the playlist.
I didn't have this issue with the last 4-5 shows I watched but now it's
suddenly an issue for this one. IDK if they lacked that metadata or if the
recent Haruna versions changed how they display it.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Find some video files with title metadata
2. Name the files something distinct but different from their title metadata
3. Open the files in Haruna in a single playlist
4. Try and figure out which file is which in the playlist
OBSERVED RESULT
There is no way to figure it out.
EXPECTED RESULT
File name should be shown in the playlist for all entries and in the window
title bar for the currently playing video.
