            Bug ID: 527233
           Summary: Password entry Field
    Classification: Plasma

      Version First 6.7.0

                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Wake/unlock behavior is to paint wallpaper only. The password entry screen
seems to only be generated when a keystroke, mouse click or mouse movement
occurs. Doing so reveals the entry field and allows fprint to be used (or
possibly even activated). On a laptop that uses a fingerprint sensor this adds
another step to unlock. Would be more convenient to have an option to have the
entry field spawn on wake/unlock.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open laptop lid
2. Have to click/swipe/hit enter to spawn field
3. ONly then able to use fingerprint sensor to unlock

OBSERVED RESULT
Mild frustration

EXPECTED RESULT
No frustration:)
