Bug ID: 526949
Summary: numlock led key does not work on ideapad 3.
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First 6.6.6
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: core
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
Kubuntu with Plasma 6.6.6, KWin Wayland, kernel 7.0.0-38-generic
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15ARP10 (83K7), internal keyboard “AT Translated Set 2
keyboard”
The NumLock key itself works and toggles the state correctly
The NumLock LED lights up correctly at the SDDM login screen
In the Plasma session the LED never changes when NumLock is pressed, and
/sys/class/leds/input2::numlock/brightness stays unchanged while pressing the
key (checked with watch)
Writing to that file manually does turn the LED on, so the hardware and kernel
are fine
“NumLock on startup” is set to “Turn on”
