--- Comment #1 from egayghost <[email protected]> --- The Dolphin startup delay on CachyOS was caused by Samba’s interfaces = lo eno1 wlan0 configuration: although eno1 was UP, it had no IP address, and when Dolphin called net usershare info, Samba attempted to resolve eno1 through systemd-resolved twice, with each failed DNS lookup taking about 4 seconds, creating an ~8–10 second Dolphin startup delay. The fix was to change the Samba configuration to interfaces = lo wlan0, since wlan0 is the active interface with 192.168.1.200/24.
