powerdevil backtrace

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5 (powerdevil 6.7.5-2)
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2
Kernel Version: 7.2.6-arch2-1 at the time of the crash
Graphics Platform: Wayland
UPower: 1.91.4
(kinfo isn't installed; versions from pacman, unchanged since the crash)

Symbolicated backtrace attached (coredumpctl gdb of the original core, PID
1614,
debug symbols via debuginfod; glibc was updated after the crash, so the
crash-time glibc was used as sysroot).

Crashing frames:
#5 PowerDevil::BrightnessLogic::decreased() at
daemon/powerdevilbrightnesslogic.cpp:88
#6 PowerDevil::BrightnessLogic::adjusted()   at
daemon/powerdevilbrightnesslogic.cpp:47
#7 KeyboardBrightnessController::keyboardBrightnessKeyPressed(Decrease)
                                             at
daemon/controllers/keyboardbrightnesscontroller.cpp:111
#8 KeyboardBrightnessControl::decreaseKeyboardBrightness()
                                             at
daemon/actions/bundled/keyboardbrightnesscontrol.cpp:120

State from the core:
  m_current = {value = 25, valueMin = 0, valueMax = 0, steps = 0}
  KeyboardBrightnessController: m_maxBrightness = 0, m_cachedBrightness = 25,
m_isSupported = true

Line 88 is  int step = (m_current.value - 1) * m_current.steps /
m_current.valueMax;
so the SIGFPE is an integer division by zero (valueMax == 0).

How it got there (from the journal of that boot):
  13:33:21 powerdevil started; there was no keyboard backlight LED yet
  13:34:44 the keyboard backlight driver (an out-of-tree ite8291 driver I was
           testing) was loaded; UPower then reported the LED
  14:25:26 keyboard brightness down key pressed -> crash
