clipped text corresponding to git's stderr
I've been seeing severly clipped output in toolviews, the latest example being
an unreadable error message in the Version Control toolview (presumably
indicating that I had non-committed local changes in my working copy, while
doing a `git pull`).
I'm attaching a screenshot of that latest example (that's on Mac OS X with Qt
5.8.0, frameworks 5.29.0 and KDevelop built a few days ago from git/master).
