Paste this into a terminal: xwininfo -shape -id $(xdotool search --class xwaylandvideobridge | head -1) The interesting part is under "Shape extents". The input shape should be 0x0. If it shows the full window size instead, the bridge is not setting it. If it is 0x0 and clicks are still swallowed, the problem might be further down, in Xwayland or in KWin. You can also try another Desktop. Also: is the dead area gone after a logout/login, or back immediately?
