I still have the issue with Kwin 6.7.80 (6.8 beta 1) and the issues happens
with both Nvidia and Intel GPUs.

It's about temporary hangs on the OpenGL side caused by GPU usage spikes for
example, not hangs on the kernel side. In this case only the renderer should
hang and not the cursor (when using hardware cursor) and keyboard.
