Some more insights: - Connections which are saved for the current user only, e.g. in KWallet, still work just fine. - Deleting a connection from the KCM and then readding it again in the KCM will fix the problem for that one connection for me, tested on 6.30 only. - If I switch the "Security" dropdown to the setting it is supposed to be set to, the password will suddenly be shown.
