**Summary**

Plasma Login Manager does not apply the configured cursor size from Plasma

**Product**

Plasma Login Manager

**Version**

6.7.4

**Platform**

Fedora 44, x86_64

**Description**

The Plasma Login Manager does not respect the cursor size configured in the
user's Plasma session.

In Plasma System Settings, I configured the mouse cursor to use a smaller size.
The smaller cursor is correctly used throughout my normal Plasma session.

However, the login screen provided by Plasma Login Manager always uses the
default cursor size instead.

This happens both:

* after boot, when reaching the login screen; and
* after logging out of the Plasma session.

The system is using Plasma Login Manager, not SDDM:

`plasmalogin.service`

Installed package:

`plasma-login-manager-6.7.4-1.fc44.x86_64`

**Steps to reproduce**

1. Log into a Plasma session.
2. Open System Settings.
3. Configure the mouse cursor to a size smaller than the default.
4. Verify that the smaller cursor is correctly displayed in the Plasma session.
5. Use the Plasma Login Manager KCM and apply the Plasma settings.
6. Log out.
7. Observe the cursor on the login screen.

The login screen still displays the cursor at the default size.

The same happens after rebooting the system.

**Actual result**

The Plasma Login Manager displays the cursor at its default size, ignoring the
cursor size configured in the Plasma session.

**Expected result**

The Plasma Login Manager should use the cursor size configured in Plasma.

This seems particularly relevant because the "Apply Plasma Settings"
functionality indicates that cursor theme and size are among the settings that
are applied to the login manager.

**Additional information**

The cursor *theme* and cursor *size* appear to be separate issues here.

Bug 514587 addressed the cursor theme/default cursor handling, but this report
concerns specifically the cursor size configured by the user.

The installed Plasma Login Manager is already version 6.7.4, so this is not
caused by running an older version of the login manager.

I have deliberately not modified the Plasma Login Manager configuration
manually or copied configuration files between users.

**Question**

Is the cursor size (`cursorSize`) supposed to be synchronized to the Plasma
Login Manager's configuration when "Apply Plasma Settings" is used?

If so, it appears that the cursor size is not being transferred/applied
correctly in Plasma Login Manager 6.7.4.
