Picture that shows the gradient preview window, then the messed up gradient
when I want to modify it.
DESCRIPTION
My Krita suddenly became buggy overnight. Without my knowledge, the brush
setting changed to Addition instead of Normal, which impacts applying
gradients. Also, 2 of my pre-made gradients were ruined and all got washed out
colors. The first thing I noticed was that when I tried making a new gradient,
the numbers were no longer 0-255 and instead 0-1. I got assistance and was told
to flip my settings to XYZ and 32 bit, as that is how you get the gradient
selection window in 0-1, which instead fixed my gradient window to show in
0-255 range. I swapped back to RGB and my gradient channel numbers went back to
0-1. The end result of this is 2 of my gradients were ruined and now I am
worried more gradients may randomly get washed out. The gradient preview window
shows it correct, but if I expand the window they get faded out.
I do not know exactly how to reproduce the bug, but someone helped figure out
how to mess up the gradient to display in 0-1.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make a gradient.
2. Change the mode from normal to overlay, luminosity, etc
3. RGB in gradient is displayed as decimals
4. Reverting back to normal mode does not revert the decimals to 0-255
OBSERVED RESULT
Gradient preset is stuck in decimal mode
EXPECTED RESULT
Gradient preset should show in RGB 0-255 mode
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Windows 11
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I find it odd that overnight my Krita swapped the top brush setting to Addition
when I was just messing with gradient colors the day before. Also, I had to
close and reopen krita setting the brush to normal 4 times until it saved as
normal when I open it up. I exited the application via the internal options and
not by clicking the top right X, but it took multiple tries which was odd.
