At the time I made the bug report, I was able to reproduce the crash with the last-published 5.2.2 AppImage. Now, I can no longer do so. I was able to avoid the crash by removing my custom keyboard shortcut for new Transaction (Ctrl+Shift+Insert). With the standard shortcut (Ctrl+Insert), the crash does not occur. I tried restoring the (Ctrl+Shift+Insert) shortcut, and still no crash. As far as I can tell, Something Weird Happened because of my old key shortcut. Clearing the old shortcut made the problem go away.
