DESCRIPTION
I understand from my LLM that KItinerary can process HTML code, which however
is used only to process emails through vendor-specific extraction scripts (and
not webpages). [Apologies if this understanding is wrong.]
Would the project is open to processing booking confirmation webpages (which
may not hold any JSON-LD), in order to extract key information from it?
If so, I would be happy to submit sample data for several companies via the
channel mentioned in KDE Itinerary's Readme.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I've started using TREK (https://github.com/liketrek/TREK) which uses/embeds
kitinerary-extractor to get booking information before saving it as activities,
accommodation, transport, etc in your trip. I am now making a Firefox plug-in
so that when I'm on the big vendor websites I can save that hotel stay / train
ride / etc to my trip's itinerary with the click of a button. Unfortunately it
currently fails with the hotel booking confirmation page of booking.com.
