Launching an application can trigger updates and other account related operations, using a lot of network, doing a lot of activity, maybe embarrassing you, just because of an accidental launch. Also, it's not just "a button" it's one of the main components of the shell, it's the initiator in charge of launching applications, and launching applications is almost the whole point of a desktop environment, it shouldn't be treated like "just a button". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
