DESCRIPTION
If the IRC server stops responding for any reason during the connection setup
process (anywhere from the start of SSL negotiation up to the 001 message),
Konversation will get stuck in the connection process and never time out or
reconnect. This isn't a regression; it has been going on for as long as I have
been using Konversation.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
My system can somewhat often reproduce this during system startup. I have
Konversation set to start on boot. Additionally, my system has 2 network
interfaces, WiFi and Ethernet. WiFi typically comes online first, followed by
Ethernet. When the Ethernet interface comes up, the WiFi interface is
disabled. If Konversation starts connecting before the Ethernet connection is
up, connects over WiFi, and is still in the process of connecting when the WiFi
interface is disabled, it will get stuck and require manual input to force a
reconnection.
OBSERVED RESULT
Sometimes when I (re)boot my system, Konversation will get stuck connecting and
require manual input to reconnect.
EXPECTED RESULT
Konversation should reconnect automatically rather than getting stuck.
