            Bug ID: 525059
Summary: Being able to select text at the top/bottom by simply
holding a click and hovering up/down.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kate
      Version First 26.08.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a text file containing text at the top and the bottom.
2. Hold a click and hover up on the top text.
3. Hold a click and hover down on the bottom text.

OBSERVED RESULT
Neither work. This feature only works from the second line of text into the
penultimate line of text.

EXPECTED RESULT
This feature should work in order for the top and bottom texts to become
consistent when doing the same thing with lines of text that aren't the first
or last line.
