write a "macro recorder" which records all user interaction and save it to a
file, so that it can be re-played later.
Currently all actions on a signal are already done through an internal (very
simple) "command language". These commands can already be logged for diagnostic
purposes (log file). Should not be too hard to record them into a different
file, most work probably is UI...
