I assume the issue is in src/views/dolphinview.cpp lines 850-901 But i did some more exploration, with these results: "Replace text" skips files which WOULD trigger this message [1], but continues after see [dolphin-rename-replace2.png]. "Enumerate" does the renaming until there is a conflict. The "File Already Exists" window appears. see [dolphin-rename-enumerate.png] "Add text" adds an red box inside the dialog window and deactivates the Rename-button. [1]: This will change the file type from "PNG image" to "Empty document". The file's content won't change but applications may no longer recognize it.
