Dear Gustavo,
thank you for the answer. My understanding of the KDE Bugzilla policies is that
"version" is not the "last version on which the bug is observed" but, as the
label now says, "version first reported in". The field is not supposed to be
updated and as bugs get older, it is therefore expected for "version" to match
an unsupported version of the software.

Likewise, I believe that "RESOLVED UNMAINTAINED" should be used to resolve bugs
originally filed against unmaintained software versions and not bugs filed
against a version that has later become unmaintained.

What I normally experience on the KDE Bugzilla is that a maintainer stops by,
asks whether the bug is still reproducible and only after user's feedback (or
lack of response within a reasonable timeframe) the bug is closed.

So I would like to understand whether Okular follows a different policy and
whether it is encouraged to update the "version" field every time we experience
the bug on a newer version (it does not seem sensible to open a new bug every
time?).
