--- Comment #10 from Ralf Habacker <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Jack from comment #9) > One more possible clarification: If you say "all dates" and there is a > filter in place which filters out some transactions, is the data range > actually used still "all transaction dates" or "all dates of filtered > transactions?" “All Dates” does NOT determine the start and end dates based on the filtered transactions. It uses the first and last transactions in the entire journal of the related account — regardless of any additional filters the report subsequently applies to the transactions. Here are some additional suggestions to describe it more precisely: “All Data” – existing name, but needs clarification “All account data” – quite precise “All data for the account” – even clearer “Entire account history” – very clear, but could give the impression that the filtered-out transactions are also included in the report “Complete date range of the account” – semantically very good, but somewhat cumbersome > Also, the return on investment reports are the only ones actually affected by > this difference, instead of changing the lables of the > drop-down, would it be sufficient to add an explanation of the differences to > the page near that drop-down? As your question has shown, the current term does indeed seem to require clarification regardless of the investment reports. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
