I try to update the system via Discover and get this error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: libfreerdp-client3-3: Зависит:
libfreerdp3-3 (= 3.30.0+dfsg-0ubuntu0.24.04.2) but
3.30.0+dfsg-1+24.04+noble+release+build3 is to be installed
Steps taken
1 KDE Neon proposed a system update through Discover.
2. The update failed with an unmet dependency:
libfreerdp-client3-3 required libfreerdp3-3 (= 3.30.0+dfsg-0ubuntu0.24.04.2),
while APT wanted to install the KDE Neon version
3.30.0+dfsg-1+24.04+noble+release+build3.
3. I checked the package versions and repositories. Both Ubuntu Noble and KDE
Neon provide different builds of FreeRDP 3.30.
4. I tried sudo apt install libfreerdp3-3 libfreerdp-client3-3, but the Neon
version of libfreerdp-client3-3 additionally depends on libsso-mib0 (>= 0.5.0),
which is not available in the configured repositories.
5. I also tried sudo apt full-upgrade. APT resolved the conflict by proposing
to remove libfreerdp-client3-3 and remmina-plugin-rdp while upgrading the rest
of the system.
6. I removed Remmina, but the FreeRDP dependency problem remained.
The system has a mixed Ubuntu/KDE Neon FreeRDP package state, and the normal
system upgrade cannot complete cleanly. apt full-upgrade wants to remove the
RDP libraries/plugin instead of upgrading them.
Likely cause: KDE Neon currently provides a newer FreeRDP build whose
dependency libsso-mib0 is unavailable, while the installed Ubuntu FreeRDP
packages require the Ubuntu-specific matching version. This leaves APT unable
to resolve the transition.
