Hello!
I tried testing some things, and was not able to reproduce the issue on my
system with the project file provided.

Some things I tried:
- Switching color bit-depth from 16-bit integer to 8-bit integer. From what I
understand, GIF format is only 8-bit, however that shouldn't make a difference
since when rendering krita (or ffmpeg rather) should encode things
appropriately.
- Rendering at 128x128 and 500x500. Upscaling the animation did not cause the
GIF to be corrupt.
- Rendering with and without saving frames as an image sequence.

Tested in both Krita 6.0.3 and 5.2.11 AppImages, on ArchLinux. I was able to
render the animation provided as GIF and save individual frames as PNG
successfully and view it normally. Using KColorChooser from the desktop
afterwards, sampling from the blue color from the resulting GIF showed only 1
value of difference in the B and G channels from the original project file,
which I'm guessing is just a rounding error from ffmpeg converting 16bit to
8bit implicitly.

Given the issue persisted across multiple Krita versions, and I haven't
encountered the issue when exporting animations in the last 2 years either, my
initial guess is that it might be some older ffmpeg version causing it, or the
way its being invoked, but its hard to say for certain. If anyone else is able
to reproduce the issue on Windows or any other build, that would probably help
out.

Since this report has been open for a little over a year. Would you be able to
specify what version of Krita you encountered this issue in specifically, as
well as what ffmpeg version it is using (or is installed on your system)?

Also as an aside, thank you for sharing this silly cat dance :3
