DESCRIPTION
Screen glitches and graphical artifacts occur strictly during the transition
process when turning Night Color on/off or adjusting the brightness slider. The
artifacts disappear as soon as the transition completes. Interestingly, the
behavior differs between the two actions: Night Color causes global artifacts
across the entire screen, while brightness adjustment causes artifacts ONLY on
the desktop background (maximized windows remain unaffected).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a maximized window (e.g., terminal or browser).
2. Toggle Night Color on/off (or drag the slider). Observe artifacts across the
whole screen.
3. Keep the maximized window open and adjust the brightness slider. Notice that
the maximized window does not glitch.
4. Minimize all windows to show the desktop background, and adjust the
brightness slider again.
OBSERVED RESULT
Night Color Toggle: Visual artifacts appear everywhere (globally) strictly
during the fade transition animation.
Brightness Adjustment: Visual artifacts appear strictly during the slider
adjustment, but ONLY on the desktop background/wallpaper area. Maximized
windows do not show any glitches during brightness changes.
In both cases, the screen returns to normal immediately after the animation or
slider movement stops.
EXPECTED RESULT
Smooth transitions in color temperature and brightness without any temporary
visual distortions, artifacts, or flickering during the change, regardless of
window state.
