I've been using bup for years now, and at some stage used kup to manage
backups.
I think kup is really doing a great job as a planner and restore tool. But I've
come to realize that bup really isn't the right backup tool.
Recently I've switched to rustic, and boy this thing is blazing fast. What took
hours with bup is now done in a jiffy.
I would really recommend switching the backend .....
