            Bug ID: 523487
Summary: Custom desktop icons became visibly "fatter" after
updating to plasma 6.7.3 from 6.6.6

left side images are from before and right side are from now, the icons are
visibly stretched

After updating to plasma 6.7.3 from 6.6.6 all my desktop icons became visibly
stretched horizontally. I tried changing the icon sizes on the desktop to see
if it would somehow reset the icon rendering back to normal but that didn't
help.
This issue only occurs on the desktop itself, viewing folders or files through
dolphin doesn't produce this issue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set custom folder icons on the desktop from png files
2. Update from plasma 6.6.6 to 6.7.3

OBSERVED RESULT
Custom folder icons (and even image previews) have become stretched
horizontally

EXPECTED RESULT
Custom folder icons and image previews should not be stretched horizontally and
should keep their original aspect ratio like before

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 6.18.39-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
