            Bug ID: 376477
Summary: wrong owner "roor" for file install_manifest.txt after
                    "make install"
           Product: kig
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: david.narv...@computer.org
          Reporter: paol...@dmf.unicatt.it
  Target Milestone: ---

When compiling from source as a normal user (say joe), the "make install" step
(that is typically invoked by "root"), creates a new file named
install_manifest.txt owned by root in the source directory, which is typically
owned by joe.
This is not good, and in some situations (NFS mounted home directory with
root-squashing) would cause an error during the "make install".

Perhaps this is not a kig issue only.
