--- Comment #6 from Martin <[email protected]> ---
I'm on newer Plasma version now. The GPU now it shows as Mesa Intel:
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.1.3-200.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 2 × Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz
Memory: 4 GiB of RAM (3.8 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® 965GM
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: Latitude D630

Behaviour is still the same, albeit possibly even slower.
On Wayland with Night Light enabled it's sluggish, unusable (X11 works fine)
After suspending Night Light it gets noticeable faster, maybe slightly slower
than previously without Night Light but usable.

It is old hardware but X11 doesn't have this issue. I wonder if on newer
hardware it could have an impact on battery use.
