Due to lack of response I'm closing this. I have to admit that I don't get what
the problem of the original reporter really is and why it is so difficult to
click on MP4 and then render. Or is this a problem with the project settings?
Then what is the problem with clicking on Resolution: Custom, and then chosing
1440x1080?
Alas, such problems are proper on G+ and forum, but they are not a bug report.
Especially when the report is mainly a rant which doesn't help fixing bugs in
any way.
