Are you sure that you don't have an overall system problem? I'm asking because
you are writing that (often) after reopening a project after a crash Kdenlive
would complain about missing clips. What were you doing here exactly, did you
reopen the project or an automatically saved version? Also, when did you save
last your project?
What kind of clips are you using? The crash indicates that these may be image
clips?
