--- Comment #1 from kzho...@gmail.com --- More issues occurred related to search. I installed Amarok today, but this app is again unsearchable but executable from terminal. I noted that the `.desktop` file is installed in `/usr/share/applications/kde4` instead of `/usr/share/applications/`. By moving the `.desktop` file to the parent directory of `kde4` solves the problem. Not sure why that happened, maybe it has to do with my distribution Arch Linux.
