            Bug ID: 522087
Summary: Enabling "Night Light" causes strong colour contrast
                    distortion when viewing/playing
                    fullscreen/borderless-fullscreen videos or games
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: night color
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When "Night Light" is enabled, fullscreen or borderless-fullscreen videos and
games will have their colours be wrongfully extremely contrasted and dark.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable "Night Light" and set temperature to anything more than "Cool (no
filter)"
2. Open any video (even a YouTube video) or game in
fullscreen/fullscreen-borderless

OBSERVED RESULT
The aforementioned colour distortion should be visible.

EXPECTED RESULT
Colours should not be extremely contrasted and dark but rather should just be
shifted to be more warm proportional to the "Night Light" temperature setting.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The distortion usually immediately goes away temporarily when you press the
meta key when in fullscreen/borderless-fullscreen (presumably as the game/video
is not in focus).
